Hi! I’m Lydia.
My work has appeared in Teen Vogue, the Sony World Photography Awards in London, England, and I was named one of the 9 best portrait photographers in Des Moines, IA.
Lydia is the perfect combination of professional and personal. She’s captured some of the most important moments in my life thus far, my maternity photos, as well as my family with my new baby. Her pictures capture a moment and do it beautifully. I will continue to employ Lydia as my photographer for the important moments in my life. She is a one-of-a-kind artist and truly makes you feel special, beautiful, and like you’re working with a friend.

Such a delightful experience! I feel pretty awkward in front of the camera, but really wanted to commemorate my first pregnancy with a special photoshoot. Lydia and her assistant did such a good job making me feel comfortable! I especially loved working with someone who shares my values, and who I knew is body positive. She even researched locations and found a beautiful waterfall that required very little walking to get to-- a must since I was nine months pregnant!
The final photos are stunning, and she even included a sweet little video. I am so happy to have these images to remember this special time.
